Oklahoma has long been analogous with Bingo. This is due to the fact that the Native bands of Oklahoma have operated Bingo sessions for years. Patrons from each of the neighboring states pile in cars and travel into Oklahoma to wager on Bingo on the weekends.
The 1988 IGRA was introduced after a landmark decree by The U.S. Supreme Court just the year prior.
